About MediMinds

Founders with a Vision

MediMinds has been capably developed by Consultant Gastroenterologist and Internal Physician Dr Nicholas Anticich and Clinical Psychologist Dr Sarah Anticich.

The programme is specifically designed to lead change within healthcare for the treatment of chronic conditions.

Our Programme

MediMinds provides an integrated medical and psychological intervention, delivered via online group sessions (8 - 14 clients) to enhance patient outcomes. These sessions offer specialist medical and psychological support, specifically designed for chronic medical conditions.

The MediMinds framework has been specifically designed from a biopsychosocial perspective to overcome the limitations of the current health system, utilising shared appointments and integrated care.

Nick and Sarah are passionate advocates and are both Southern Cross Affiliated Providers.

Our Strategy

Research highlights the effectiveness of shared medical appointments in improving symptom management and disease control while also reducing social isolation. Additionally, these appointments foster positive coping strategies through collaborative problem-solving.

The MediMinds framework is designed from a biopsychosocial perspective to address gaps in the current healthcare system by integrating shared medical appointments and coordinated care.

This innovative approach brings together multiple clinicians, specifically a Clinical Psychologist and a Consultant Gastroenterologist, to work with patient groups, providing comprehensive treatment that addresses both the medical and psychological aspects of chronic health conditions.
